Dr. Edu Inam of the Department of Chemistry also the Director, International Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Research, University of Uyo is among five selected delegates to participate in the first Stakeholders Forum of the International Sustainable Chemistry collaborative Centre (ISC3) scheduled for June 20-21, 2019 in Bonn, Germany.
The event will introduce delegates to the working programme of the ISC3 and invites delegates to engage in the dialogue on the emerging concept of sustainable chemistry. As a new international collaborative centre, the ISC3 believes in the power of dialogue and cooperation as key drivers of transformative change. With the first ISC3 Stakeholder Forum we want to interlink representatives from policy, industry, academia and civil society and discuss how sustainable chemistry can contribute to achieving the SDGs and become a solution provider for a circular, climate-resilient society.
