ICEESR UNIUYO Team Seeks Partnership With EATECH

In strengthening cooperation with industry, a team from the International Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Research on Thursday August 17, 2023 visited Engineering Automation Technology Limited (EATECH) at their base in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The ICEESR team was led by the Director, Prof. Edu Inam and included Prof. Joseph Essien and Prof. Valerie Solomon. The purpose of the visit was to explore areas of possible mutual collaboration between ICEESR AND EATECH towards advancing science and technology for the benefit of society. The ICEESR team was received by the base Manager, Doris Bassey, HR Manager, Iquo Etukudo among other senior managers. The team undertook a comprehensive tour of the base including the ongoing flow meter standardization laboratory, which is the first in Nigeria. The onsite Asset Integrity Manager, Engr. Christopher Idung was on ground to explain the technical aspect of the project to the visiting team. EATECH (Engineering Automation Technology Ltd) is an indigenous oil and gas servicing company, belonging to several international associations including the British Standard Institute (BSI), American Society of Non Destructive Testing (ASNT), American National Standard Institute (ANSI), International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), among others.
