Post Graduate Students With ICEESR Receive Grants to Attend 250th National Meeting of the American Chemical Society at Boston Ma USA in August 2015
The students, Ms. Idara Obotowo and Mr. Nnanake-Abasi Offiong would be presenting their research work on “Theoretical Design of New Organic Materials for Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells for Sunlight Harvesting” and “Estimation of Occupational Risks from Exposures to Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Trace Metals in Soils of Automobile Repair Shop Environs in Uyo, Nigeria” respectively.
The Director, ICEESR, Dr. Inam while congratulating the students, advised them to be good ambassadors of the centre as well as the University of Uyo. It is on note, that this will be the first time Students of the University will be attending the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society.
